About

Curtin Library Makerspace is based in the Robertson Library at Curtin's Bentley (Perth) campus and is designed as a supportive environment for experimentation and skill-building. It offers a mix of high-tech and low-tech making, including 3D printing, laser cutting/scanning, electronics tinkering (e.g., Arduino/Raspberry Pi), and hands-on craft activities. The space also supports digital content creation with multimedia gear (cameras, microphones, lighting, green screen/lightboard) and a VR/AR corner, alongside arts and crafts such as sewing/embroidery and other handcrafts. It operates to set opening hours and runs workshops.
