About

The Making Centre at UNSW's School of Art & Design is a network of specialised workshops, studios and production facilities on the Paddington campus. The Makerspace within is the home of all Digital Fabrication, offering 3D printing, 3D scanning, laser cutting and engraving, photographic printing and CNC routing. Surrounding facilities include the Toolroom (wood and metal), Resource Centre (photo/moving image/sound/VFX), Hackspace (creative coding, electronics and VR), ceramics, jewellery, printmaking, screen printing and textiles studios. Together these form a highly capable maker ecosystem for art, design and media students.
